Six new urea plants have been commissioned in the last decade, adding over 76Lakh metric tonnes of annual production capacity, while domestic output of DAP and NPKS fertilizers has been increased by 50 Lakh metric tonnes and fertilizer sources have been diversified. 
• While highlighting the increasing demand for electricity during summer and ongoing conflict, PM Modi informed the sufficient coal reserves are present at all power plants nationwide, noting that India has achieved a milestone of producing 100 crore tonnes of coal for the second consecutive year.
