Kolkata:- Today,  Suvendhu Adhikari, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, paritipated in the auspicious Bhumi Pujan ceremony for the Adani Arogya Mandir located in Action Area II, New Town, Kolkata, accompanied by Gautam Adani and members of his family.  It has been said that this transformative initiative represents a significant milestone in establishing West Bengal as the leading healthcare, medical education, and research center in Eastern India.

The forthcoming Adani Mandir also represents far more than a conventional hospital facility; it constitutes a holistic, interconnected Health city spanning 51 acres with a capital commitment surpassing Rs. 2500 crore. This initiative will establish one of India's most expansive tertiary and quaternary healthcare facilities, featuring a 2,000-bed Super-Specialty Hospital with 1,000 beds specifically allocated to deliver complementary and substantially reduced- cost medical services to economically disadvantaged populations. This arrangement guarantees that financial constraints shall never impede access to superior medical care, thereby exemplifying the project's fundamental principle of advancing social equity. 


The undertaking will generate substantial employment prospects, encompassing both direct and indirect opportunities across the State for specialist physicians, nursing personnel, paramedical staff, healthcare management professionals, and supports workers. The Chief Minister  of Bengal believes that the dedication persists steadfastly: contemporary facilities, economics advancement, and fundamentally, compassionate,  equitable, and respectful healthcare delivery for all West Bengal residents.
