India–UK Strengthen Science and Innovation Ties at 8th Council Meeting

Charge) Science & Technology, Earth Sciences; MoS PMO, PP/ DoPT, Atomic Energy Space Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh engaged in participation at the 8th India-United Kingdom Science and Innovation Council (SIC) Meeting, wherein he convened with Mr. Jonathan Reynolds. the British Minister serving as Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, Science, and Trade of the United Kingdom, to facilitate bilateral discussions concerning Space, Nuclear Energy, and emerging technologies. During this event, Dr. Jitendra Singh and Jonathan Reynolds formally inaugurated the BRIC-CDF-ONT India Genomics Centre of Excellence. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Rajesh S. Gokhale, Secretary of the Department of Biotechnology and Director General of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC); Prof. Ullas Kolhur - Seetharam, Director of BRIC- CDFC; and Mr. Nich Kehar, Chief Financial Officer of Oxford Nenopore Technologies.
